Time Keeper
You keep an extra eye on the time and give a heads up when it seems useful.
Practically
We usually take a break around 1 hour. If needed, let us know about 5 minutes before. Each part usually lasts up to around 30 minutes. Keep an eye on whether we seem engaged or whether some time awareness might be helpful. Our maximum session time is 2½ hours. Give a heads up if we are getting close.
Minister of Body
You choose what we’ll explore with the body today.
Practically
Choose 3 explorations from the body sheet that you feel drawn to. If you like, share a little about why you chose them. Once you’ve chosen, the facilitator takes it from there.
Music Chooser
You choose the music for our free movement exploration.
Practically
Choose something you’d enjoy moving to and feel curious to bring to the group. When it’s time for free movement, we’ll put on your choice.
Question Bringer
You bring a question you feel curious to explore together.
Practically
Come with one question that has been on your mind or that you feel drawn to. Share it with the group during the Open Moment. We might explore it today, or it might become something we return to another time.
Thread Keeper
You keep an eye out for explorations that might be interesting to return to.
Practically
Notice if something from an earlier exploration still feels alive, unfinished, or worth exploring further. If something comes to mind, bring it into the Open Moment. We can see together whether we want to pick up that thread again.
Noticer
You pay a little extra attention to what you notice during our explorations.
Practically
Notice anything that catches your attention, surprises you, or makes you curious. Near the end, share something you noticed if you’d like. You don’t have to explain it or make a conclusion out of it.
Memory Keeper
You help us remember what emerged from today’s explorations.
Practically
Notice 1 to 3 things that might be worth remembering. These could be discoveries, questions, experiments, or something we might want to return to. Near the end, share them with the group so we can add them to our shared notes.
Experimenter
You bring an experiment for us to explore together.
Practically
Think of something you feel curious to try with the group. It can be simple, playful, unusual, or something you have been wondering about. Bring it to the group and we can see together whether we want to explore it.
